It looks like the rumors are true- Miley really might be appearing in the Sex and the City movie sequel.

According to a filming schedule obtained by Life&Style,October 16 has been set aside for the Hannah Montana star to shoot a red-carpet premiere scene in front of the Zeigfeld theater in New York.

While this is a good sign for anyone hoping to see Miley interact with Carrie and the gals, it's not quite a done deal just yet.

"They've asked her," an insider reveals. "But she hasn't confirmed. Right now, they're just holding the space for her."

It looks like she's working hard!  Check out this video of Miley rehearsing "Party in the USA" for her upcoming tour, "Wonder World."

For the fourth straight week, Miley's song "Party in the USA" is the top sold song on itunes.  It has sold over 800,000 digital copies so far.  That's great!  Make sure you buy it if you haven't yet.

The book Miley's movie "The Last Song" is based on comes out today.  Buy it and read it if you want to know how the movie ends...

 Miley is set to appear on the Jay Leno Show on Wednesday September 16th at 10/9c on NBC. Miley will participate in a new segment called "10 at 10".
